Data-Driven Reporting Project

The Data-Driven Reporting Project equips local news organizations and freelance journalists, especially those who serve local and underrepresented communities, with financial awards and additional resources to work on data- or document-driven investigative work. The next round of applications for the DDRP opens in January 2024, learn more about how to apply here. The DDRP is based out of Northwestern University Knight Lab at Medill and was founded with support from the Google News Initiative.
